The practice of letting cats roam free is harmful to both humans and animals, yet it is difficult to open up a topic of discussion. Typical of a taboo is that no one wants to talk about it because negative emotions such as anger and even personal threats quickly come into play. A taboo means that arguments and even facts cannot be discussed; in the booklet 'The Taboo of the Free-Roaming Cat', we set out the facts.
